So, it’s official now. US F1 will not be on the grid this year, or ever most likely.
This has been a study in press releases from the start, with nary a car, or even a picture of a car to be seen anywhere. Peter Windsor and Ken Anderson became Itchy and Scratchy, and cost a lot of good people their jobs. Well, lots of unemployment all over. At least they are unemployed in a state that pays a decent amount in unemployment benefits.
Let’s hope it’s a fun season in F1, with Mclaren, Mercedes, Red Bull, and Ferrari in a good battle. It’s just too bad the cars are so fugly.
